I'm really new user of bots. I'm very curious about these classifications. After reading various forums I would make some curious questions. 1) Does it really exist or existed a BanWave? 2) Does blizzard actually has a system that checks memory usage or some software that make use of HonorBuddy? I follow the playbook to avoid banishment ... I use HonorBuddy at times that I am near the computer, just I turn him for a few hours (maximum 6 hours per day), try not to farm the same thing in the same place. But will it be enough? Checking the EULA this new paragraph was already written this way? Does this device will now check memory usage described in the EULA? Or Blizzard is terrorizing us? Do they really care about the bots? I'm worried about turn on the HonorBuddy ... Should I even bother? Until now - 16 days and the BanHammer did not taked me... Realy tnks and sory about the English.
BanWaves are real but if i remember they went from perma ban to 72 hour bans and "Last Warning" witch lasts a couple of weeks, my friends and i have been using it in moderation not just afking everything and we have yet to be banned so im sure we are safe as long as you are cautious and dont farm for hours on end, but i could be wrong. this is just my story from about 3 days of using HB
long time ago, there were banwaves. 100 of 100s was banned in a big wave. record was 300.000 in a glider wave, if i remember correct. nowadays, you wont find banwaves like this anymore. there are miniwaves, on some days with probably a couple of thousand bans. so i would say, 100 accouts baned in this forum (most users wont tell that they are banned) can be called a banwave
<chuckles> Hi, Ugangelo, The Forum Mods just closed about a dozen threads on this very topic. Search box is in the upper right, and take your pick. You'll probably find about a thousand posts on the topic, just grab the latest ones. cheers, chinajade
