Im very interested in buying honorbuddy for my RaF account I hardly use and truly wouldnt mind if the account got banned. But, since the upgrade to MoP and subscription did cost money, I would mind for money reasons. SO, Im here on the forums asking what I can do to ensure the account wont get banned ahead of time. I already read all the posts about 12hrs./day etc... Im wondering if there is anything I could purchase to make my chances of not getting banned increased. My friend once told me of something that changed his ip which didnt allow blizzard to ever ban him. Im not completely sure and Im pretty new to botting. Any suggestions on what to do before I make my purchase would be great. Truly any advice will help. Thanks!
A wise man once said "its not a matter of if you'll get banned, its when". I have run the software for about two years, last week or so i got two accounts banned back to back. I was very safe, ran private profiles, supervised a large portion of the time, didn't run more than 6-8 hours a day in two sessions with 3-4 hour break between sessions. I dont know how i was detected, both appeals were rejected, now i am down to 5 min responses to tickets with only "the decision has been upheld" as a response. Long story short: Dont bot anything you're willing to lose, the software ran great but as of lately they clearly have developed or put into effect a method of "detecting" honorbuddy. You could make it months or years, or as others have reported as little as 6-8 hours.
There is no other bot that can even compete with HB. As of lately there have been a sharp increase in bans relating to "detected third party software". I dont think there is much to worry about but personally i lost 2/2 botting accounts within days. No warning, no 72 hour suspension, no winning appeal. You will get banned, time before it happens varies. I think mine was bad luck, i just started 3 more accounts ill keep you posted. Choice is ultimately yours though, can you deal with consequences of getting banned?
Well id be doing it on an account I dont necessarily care about, but Im wondering if they can track it back to my main account
Nobody knows. Some claim they track ip/mac address/hardware id, others deny it. Either way they banned two accounts i was botting with and left 2 others that didn't bot alone, so i assume it'd be relatively safe. Get the bot but i wouldnt use it on any account you are even remotely emotionally attached to.
Package? You mean how many subscriptions? If you're only going to bot one account at a time then just get one license. I started with one and upgraded to 3. Always an option down the road.
One day is a trial, 3 sessions lets u run 3 bots at once, 1 session lets you run, well, 1 session at once. Sounds like you're looking for 1 session.
