So I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials for over a year now and to my best knowledge have been virus free. Was curious to see what everyone else uses and what is currently the best anti-virus software available both free and licensed. What do you use?

I have virgin media home care, if i wish to get my PC fully cleaned updated with the latest drivers, have them install a new piece of software for me i can do that.

All i do is click live support, and they do everything for me by taking over my pc and i can leave my bots running while they do it! :D

E.S.S. for me. Eset is very good i.m.e.
Never any issues, a 1 click gamers mode and there are semi pirated versions available for those that can't pay for it (up to the most recent releases).

I use avast and have been for the longest. Works good and I have very few if any false positives from some pirated stuff here and there. ;-)

I use Eset Smart Security. Lightweight and really really good imo. It's not free tho, but there's always a way to get around that.
