Im using tuanha for my hunter. Not sure if it's the best, but the rotation isn't complicated so I am sure it's fine. And it has a lot of options.
I agree with the above, I use Tuahnas but I would love to see true performance comparisons in a closed environment.
I will try this as I have the paid tuanha hunter as well as yrb2.0. The only issue is that my gear will be optimized for MM as that is what I currently raid as atm. I will post results in a few min from some target dummies.
Ok so here are the results I got. This is completely unbuffed dmg with a shroud of Orgrimmar on because im a noob and forgot to take it off. But gear is the same throughout the test so everything is even. Talents for MM and SV are 1,1,2,3,3,3,3. Talents for BM are 1,1,2,2,3,3,3. Used the 3 target dummies on bridge in Org for the test. Tested them all on default / raid settings. This is Tuanha paid version and YRB2 paid version. Ok, so from this test TuanHa seems to do better in BM and SV while YRB2 does better in MM. Again this is with base settings and nothing tweaked. If you tweak settings I am sure the results change, but for this test I simply hit start and left everything stock. Make your own decisions from it. Hope this helps someone.
And, again, Huntastic is better than both of them with regards to both actual DPS and utility -- having used all of them in *actual progression raid environments*.
Hi Violatio, Please ensure that you have AoECount set to higher than 8 while testing on dummy on both routines to ensure that AoE doesn't trigger. Also YRB requires at least 30TPS with Hardlock enabled in Enyo. 15 TPS will actually make the routine slower
This was a quick test of just throwing it together. Seeing as I was the only one in 2 weeks to do it, it is better than nothing. For the average botter this is what they will see. Being as the settings were the same between both routines while tested it still shows accurate representation of what they can do. Someone who knows to tweak all of these numbers will already know what CR they want to use.
Never heard of YRB2 but my friend bought Huntastic (for Surv) and said his DPS was amazing (about 2x better than Tuhana).
Having tested both Huntastic, YRB2 and Tuanha in mythic BRF raiding I can say by far for both settings, utility and overall dps that YRB2 is by far the best of these. You can't really test a CR against a Testdummy when you test them as they don't represent what the actual damage is on a fight with 1-10 adds spawning at different times. The only representation you get from a CR with testdummy is for fights like Butcher were you can be completely still.
TuanHA's free edition with Enyo botbase over YBR2 and Huntastic for me in every situation. (655ilvl BM)
