Got 4 accounts botting in a high populated realm. -1 account holds my bank-alt + Warclock botter. -1 account holds my MAIN toon + a DK botter (rarely used unless i'm testing a new speedhack/teleportBot while visually monitoring it) -2 accounts hold each a bot (pally+dk) With the way economy is going, my toons are racking in the gold and need to sell 100k every few days. What i've been told on other bot forums is to create a dummy account transfer the gold there , sell it, and wait for that account to get banned within 48hours. Repeat and rince. What they dont explain is, wouldn't me transfering 100k gold from my bank-alt to a TRIAL account alt and then to chinese gold seller, be suspicious. To the point that if they ever trace who my bank-alt is they'll easily trace my other accounts who have transfered over 2million gold worth in ore/herbs in past months. What do you guys do to avoid having them trace your real accounts? They say that if you transfer over 50k (due to it being the max limit on server transfers) to a toon not owned by you - it throws a redflag. I also think the whole - changing your IP is utter BS. They don't trace that way i believe. They trace it if they detect the user account is linked to other accounts (which in my case they are) - except the trial accounts. The reason I've been able to get away with making this much gold, is because my accounts are linked, and they dont redflag when i transfer mass gold from one toon to the next. But as soon as i start transfering gold to a trial account not under my name and then to a gold seller , is where im suspicious. Maybe i should get 3 trial accounts, transfer three way?
Any kind of mass gold transfer could possibly throw a red flag to your main account, only Blizzard knows. But vanilla accounts are the easiest way to minimize your losses.
wait you mean i cant use a trial account? or you saying a vanila account gives it less reason for them to trace back who was the culprit, since they're happy they banned the vanilla and job is done.
As far as I know. The last time I did a RAF, you can't trade or use mail with a trial. I could very well be wrong though, was a few months ago.
Cant trade or join a guild on trial account. So vanilla account it is Sent from my HTC Wildfire using Tapatalk
Do you guys think it be smart to make two vanilla accounts to sell gold? objective is for them to not ban my main account. I was thinking if i transfer 200k gold to a middle man account , and then middle man account transfers it to gold seller account. When my gold seller account chats with the chinese farmer and does the final transfer. Blizz will for sure ban the goldseller vanilla account, and they may or may not ban the middle man account, but you gotta be real unlucky if they ban the main account. MainAccount -> Vanilla account middle man -> vanilla account gold seller
If you wanna pay for another sub to have a middle man account for no other purpose, =p! I think you are just putting on another condom, if they want to trace the gold, they can trace it 10 times over I bet. Thats just my opinion. The point to getting a fresh vanilla is to grab the free month, use and abuse it.
Vanilla accounts aren't a 100% solution to this dilemma. I just traded half a mil in gold yesterday through multiple bot toons and 1 vanilla account and 1 bot got banned whereas the vanilla didn't. Strange huh? I'm guessing the other accounts have been marked for suspension in a ban-wave.
People tell you to use a vanilla account because it's cheap. If you wanna sell gold with it, consider the account banned 2-3 hours after the transfer - at specific amounts it seems to be almost guaranteed to get a ban, as we suspect they monitor the amount of gold being transfered. The trick is to not get another account flagged aswell, so you shouldn't trade/mail the gold, but transfer the guild leadership and then take the gold out of the guildbank with the goldseller toon. Also you then should not draw any attention to the banned account, what you don't want ist to get them looking into it, as it will result in multiple bans. In the end, you can never know. If for some reason they look into the case, they will see where the gold originated and you will loose all involved accounts. So noone will give you a guarantee - just suggestions what might work and what already did in the past. Main rule: Never involve an account you don't wanna loose.
