      Hi there,

ssry for this post, I was searching the Forum including the wiki for hours now, but not finding an information:

      How can I blacklist a NPC in a GB-Profile?
Reason: GB is always trying to reach a node next to Baron Geddon at Hyjal, and my toon dies again and again.
So, how do I blacklist Geddon?

      Thanks in advance!

you need to get the information on the node, not the NPC. start GB near and it will give you the information in the GB window. Open up badNodes.xml (in your GB folder) and use the same format as the ones already in there. If you don't have a badNodes.xml, find one on the forums and use it. just save it to your GB folder, open it up, insert the new information in the format as.... what i said before.

Exfelon describes the formal way to do this. I use a 'hacky' way...

Watch the profile for one round, and when Gatherbuddy dips down to take the offending node, just keep hitting the space bar to prevent it from descending. Keep interfering with Gatherbuddy's ability to acquire the node until Gatherbuddy decides for itself to blacklist the node (it will be automatically written to the file).

For me, this is easier than chasing down X-Y-Z and modifying the badNodes.xml file by hand.

      cheers,
      CJ
