So I made a battle chest with a level 1 character to sell the materials my bot account gathered and he got about 30k after 2 days of sales. I deposited that gold in my guild bank and the level 1 account was banned within 2 hours by an automated script. Does anyone know how the gold transfer ban script works and how to avoid it?
To replier: Are you working for Blizzard trying to help them get more revenue by selling more battle chests to botters/gold sellers that get banned instantly? Bans are real and if you ever made a level 1 character on a new battle chest account to transfer gold you would know that. Botters can use alt accounts to sell mats without having that gold on their bot account. The gold can then be sold without putting the bot account at risk. We just need to avoid the bans with those accounts. Does anyone on this forum know how to avoid the automatic ban while handling gold with a level 1?
Did you do it all in 1 lump sum? Also, of course it looked a bit suspicious and im not sure it was a script that banned, but maybe flagged you. Lucky the account that mailed 30k worth of mats didnt get banned as well. I would say that from exp, the gold sellers/buyers have always told me to deposit random amounts less than 20k at a time, so like, 16789 then 7890 then 5321.
Wait so you guys are saying that if someone was completely legit and bought another account to hold gold or deal with banking/AH, he would be permanently banned regardless? There is no automation script, this was a blind ban. Get it overturned.
Yes, there is an auto-ban script that bans new, low level accounts near instantly if they trade, spend, or deposit too much gold. If you make a level 1 character on a new battle chest and give the character 30k with your main, and then give that 30k to someone else, you will get banned within a few hours. I heard one way to get around the auto ban is to level up to 10 but I'm not sure. Does anyone on this forum have proven ideas that work?
I tend to level my middle-man seller account to around 15 or so and they typically last until their game time expires. (not always!)
How long ago were you selling gold on a lvl 15 account without getting banned? These auto-bans Blizzard is doing to battle chest accounts now just started a couple months ago.
From my experience, if you trade from LvL 1 characters it's highly likely that you'll get caught. I've done trades with lvl 85s and 90s and never received a ban (for gold selling) on those.
Look, the best way to figure out the best way to sell gold is to buy gold from known gold sellers, the method they use is one you can see works and use yourself to sell gold... you buy the amount that you want to trade such as 30k gold and see how they do it, see how the professionals do it.
The auto script is becoming an issue for me, severely effecting margins. I'm lucky to have a trade battle chest live a full week lately.
To the people who say they get away with transferring gold off a level 1 battle chest for weeks, are you on the EU or US? I play on the US and that is where I ran into the auto-script FYI
You only use them as burner accounts. Trade with account within 2 hours, sack it. You can however use it as a AH-bot, because then you would never have more than 4000-5000G on it > deposit in Gbank. But if you put 50-500k on a lvl 1 vanilla account it will usually get banned before 3-4 hours. However it's been some time since I used that type of trading so it might have changed since 3 years ago when I used to do that.
