Breakneck 60 by Mord (Currently 1-45) *Read Description!*

Welcome to Breakneck 60​

Before you download, read this. This profile will quest you to level 34 and grind you to 45, however the current version of HB does not support alot of the quests I have included. DO NOT QUEST WITH THIS TILL THE NEXT VERSION OF HB IS RELEASED! I will not be happy if I get complaints about questing. Just grind with this and provide me feedback. When you have read and understood this you may download.

This profile will quest to level 34 and grind you to level 45. You will notice that sometimes it will not do a quest after it has been picked up. I have staggard the quests to be as safe as possible. This profile mixes grinding with questing. This profile replaces my 1-20 and 20-45 profiles already in place. It has been designed around HB2 and includes twice as many hotspots as the previous profiles I made. I also took great care in blackspoting areas that would be of danger. I even went the extra mile to blackspot every single lamp post along the road in duskwood!

The zones it will cover: Elwynn Forest, Westfall, Duskwood, Redridge, STV.

I have included hundreds of blackspots and a hundreds of hotspots. There are alot of subprofiles to make sure it is as efficient as possible. I threw in some random hotspots to help get your explorer achieves. If you start this profile from level 1 you should walk away with 100 achieve points from the profile it self.

To help yourself along the way you should pick up skinning at level 6. I do not recommend you pick up mining, Currently HB seems to ignore blackspots to get nodes. If you have access to some gold you should get yourself some netherweave bags and upgrade your gear every 10 levels or new zone. The greys you can get at the local vendors should do well enoph but if you have the gold then spoiling yourself at the AH wont hurt either.

I also recomend you use etrain, auto equip, anti drown, and nexthotspotplz plugins. Though mine never worked for me. I also included a list of non working quests that can be added later as support is added for these quests.

There will no doubt be bugs. I havent tested this on every class. In fact I have only test it on a Paladin. You will need a strong CC that has the best logic to deal with adds and runners. I recomend any healer CC but I am sure you can do this with any CC.

There are also HB bugs which can cause odd behavior. Examples of this are that it will stop questing and just grind. It will walk right into a blackspot. Or the nav will get stuck when in certain areas. So caution is recommended untill these issues are fixed.

I have spent 40+ hours putting this together. Why so long?

First of all, HB doesnt support all quests so filtering out the quests it can and can not do is no easy task.

Secondly the quests are staggard so that they are fairly easy when you reach the level I have set for each quest.

Third, I added some grinding in areas to help ease the pain.

Fourth, I added many blackspots to dangerous areas to minimize the risk of death.

Fifth, I spent alot of time yelling at Hawker. Though I am pretty sure he just right clicks the msn tray on me and hits close without reading it.

I do have one request. As I said earlyer I spent many hours on this. Please do not rip it into your questing profile, it would just be wrong.

As a matter of fact I will lvl an ally char just to see what you can do with profiles now in HB2 when some1 actually have put this effort into it.

When i try to load it i get the error Unable to cast object of type 'System.Xml.Linq.Xtext' to type 'System.Xml.Linq.Xelement'. Not sure what to do (tried it with 1.932 and questing one).

 

Awesome work as usual Mordd. I gave up at level 20 on my profile until HB has some of the bugs smashed out of it. I took this form the profile I was working on if you would like to add it. It is the class quests for Northshire Starting Area.

Also, I have some of the higher level quests in Goldshire, but since Stormwind is a little broken I was waiting to add all of them all at once.

Going to create a new character and give this a try once the next release of HB. What zone do you plan on questing in after STV?

 

Updated for HB 1.9 somthing.

I added 5 new hotspots for Northshire as well as spliting it to make it good for grinding.

EDIT: At the moment I'm "reading" the profile and all I can say is that it mostly does green quests, and hard quests are done with 5+ levels, which is great.

Dare to ask, is there anything new on profile writing? I don't see any difference.

I made it as safe as possible to work with all classes. If it was doing a quest and I came near death I would up it a level or two. Some red and yellow quests are simple "talk to this guy" quests so those are done as soon as they come in. One I was struggling with because of HB bugs was the Stalvin quest where you need to find whats behind the house. If HB would clear all target on the way then I wouldnt have had a problem but even at level 29 I was dieing because it would pull 7 mobs at once.

 

Hi Mordd I tried using your profile today and I am getting an error. I am not sure if it is the profile or HB :/ Can you take a look? I tried using both version of the questing beta with no luck.

1. The error occurs when loading the profile. If I attempt to ignore it and try and start, nothing happens.

 

It doesnt work with the current version of HB.

 

Yeah.. just tried this with a fresh level 1. Just keeps crashing when loading the profile

 

Actually the profile will load, it just wont quest. This is an xml error im trying to find.

 

The error is between level 20 and level 30, im trying to find it atm.
