Buddy Store Streaming Issue

Hi,

So i have a problem when i enable ENYO / Demonic on the buddystore stream. My HB usually gets stuck at "Please wait a few seconds while honorbuddy initalizes", for nearly an 40 mins or too until my toon gets kicked off the server.

I know its a buddy store issue, since when i disable it, it runs smoothly and no more waiting around.
However, there was this one time when I did stream Enyo and it was working fine for a few days until the new HB update came out.

This is a very uncommon issue for the majority of HB users simply because my internet here sucks!!! its shit. im playing wow at 600ms at best. SO is there another way around from streaming and just having the files on PC from my end?

Edit: Added another Log in comparison. Working (disabling buddystore stream) vs Not working (enabling enyo and demonic only).

 

go and log into the buddystore. and click "My Purchases" then disable streaming for everything and see if the bot starts. if it does, then enable one at a time with restarts each time. what can happen is people add too much and it just kind gets clogged up, the first time it has to download everything.

 

alrite atm ill try to download enyo and report back.... when it streams does the files save anywhere on my pc?

edit: here is a log for me trying to stream demonic and enyo on my lock will report back for enyo

 

i dont need a log, just disable them all.
start the bot and see if it works,

then go back and enable them one by one.

if it fails at whatever point then i need a log.

 

Here is the log with everything disabled from buddy shop, as you can see it runs quite fast.

Edit: gonna try with enyo.

 

Okay I am having trouble to stream enyo.. waited for 40ish mins didnt even load.



I have now disabled it and im gonna try to stream demonic only.

bump: issue is still here.... my internet cant be that slow to download... is something else blocking the stream? ports? please help

 

Hi tony, I have deleted the cache.bin last night as it was 1mb. Now its 3kb and it's still not streaming.

 

did you re-enable streaming for those items from the "My Purchases" page?

 

Hi CodenameG, I will delete cache again and re-enable the streaming again. I'm sure i re-enabled it but i will double check and post a log later tonight. Currently at work at the moment.

 

alright. do this..

Delete the cache, Disable streaming for ALL products.

restart your machine.

then start honorbudy. see if it works.

Enable 1 product, start honorbuddy see if it works.

keep going and see if ththat does it.

now i closed HB, closed WoW and went on to enable one download (ENYO), only. loaded up Wow and loaded up HB and its stuck with the same problem. I left it on for 20mins + and nothing had worked. I don't have an antivirus and im running on a brand new Fresh PC. Im running windows 8.1. Same problem persists. View attachment 1516 2014-11-10 18.01.txt

I'm not sure what else could i be doing wrong other than the fact the my internet is truly slow. Would provide any additional details if u need so be as long as this problem can be fixed.

start it wow, get in game and just let it run. if you can play in wow for a while if it is REALLY slow, it could just finish and be fine.

 

For awhile now I have left it for 20 - 40 mins. I'm just wondering how big the file is for enyo.. it can't be that big. .. If this does not work is there any other alternative eg direct download and use svn to upgrade. I have done all I could.. from fresh hb install etc

 

I have added it to the firewall, i exempted the Firefox.exe (i renamed honorbuddy) in the inbound and outbound.

I am srsly out of ideas too..... is there something i havent done like UAC? DEP? im not sure....

For now are there any other alternatives?

 

BUMP: tried everything including flush dns and power cycle routers. still does not seem to work..

could it be ports blocking streaming or something?

do you have port 5031 open? also are there any other machines you can use on your network to see if its just that machine or just your network?

Is My Port Open? so according to this website port 5031 is closed?

To begin, didn't I need port 5031 OPEN to be able to connect/login into honorbuddy...? Because by disabling streaming I was able to initialise Honorbuddy. Furthermore, I was able to stream with buddystore prior to the release of 11936.

Now how do I open port 5031?

edit: portforwarded 5031 and still didnt work.
