buddy website issues

hi

can someone look at the code for the website layout for me?
whenever i login, the "welcome/my name/notifications etc" menu slides to the right hand side of the screen and is partly obscured by the "search the forums box".
it works fine in firefox, but not IE 9.0.13

lastly, can we have a menu "rating" at the top menu of the forum pages, between "title/thread starter" and "replies/views" so we can sort by the number of stars given?

but what about my sort by rating suggestion?

 

we will see, changes to the site are kinda hard to do, we have to weight the time its going to take to do it with the usefulness and if it can be done cleanly or not.
