Buying Items from others Bannable? Aka Looking like a Gold Seller?

My theory here is that Blizzard will take this sale as a gold seller I believe.

So I was wandering if you could actually be banned for basically buying achievements and so forth with gold. Since to Blizzard, it seems that you are just giving away the gold.

For Example: If you were to buy 9/9 Gold challeneges from someone who usually wants like 100k for doing so. Would you get banned for it? Since blizzard would flag all the gold being traded, and your not getting anything back but some achievements done by a group.

Another example would be buying RBG or Arena rating.

Buying Game time cards

Buying Blizzard Store Items off others. (Game time, Mounts, Games, Pets, ETC.)

Tell me what you think or what you've had from experience. Thanks.

 

I buyed game time from China people for 15k and got banned on main account. Never botted on that one, never sold any gold.

 

Did they say the reason was due to selling gold or anything like that?

 

I buy gold quite often for my main in 100k+ bulks and I've never been banned or suspended. They only flag gold selling it seems when it's stolen from a key logged account. Probably some other conditions as well but that's my input so far.

 

It is theoretically possible, any time a large amount of gold is moved it can auto-flag/ban your account. I was flagged 4 times as selling gold, for posting too much on the AH. I was unbanned immediately everytime, just by saying I never sold gold till the fifth time they banned me for botting xP lol.

 

Usually they do not flag trades between 90ies.

Most bans happen when u exchange gold with 1day tbc accounts.

 

Doing all of that actually made you an acomplice of gold selling in some way, maybe blizzard dont mind it but they can ban you for any or no reason if they want to

 

Ah dang, just was curious. Make a lot of gold, was wanting to just make gold and pay for the success. Guess its not very safe though.

 

As Buyer you won't get banned, but as seller it could be

If this was true, all those hm guilds that sell raid achs would constantly be replacing people who get banned for doing the transaction.

I bought achievements once for about 100k or 150k. No ban, no nothing. Traded gold from max level toon to another max level toon.
