I'm running kicks questing profile and I've got to 90 so far but at this point looking through all of the ban reports I'm getting kinda worried that If somehow I do get banned that its gonna be a perma even though its my first. Is this even a possibility or are the people reporting in being perma banned for questing just long time violators?
It sure is a possibility, but if you only quest and don't bot inhuman hours, they will likely overturn it or at worst turn it into a 72 hour suspension if appealed. Of course you might get a really evil GM, but I'd say the risk is overall quite low.
yes its possible, if you get an abuse of economy that they are giving more freely as of late, say good bye to it. But in most cases its a ban that can be overturned to a 72hs ban, on the reports people usually report the ban and dont say anything about the appeal or they dont know about it and just give up. A straight 72hs ban is very weird, as a perma for third party soft not getting overturned. But as phelon said, if you DO care for the account, dont bot on it.
I've Never gotten a 72hr warning. All my accounts are Always perm banned on the 1st offense. 40-50 accounts over the years, all perm banned.
Just be careful. There are some bugs with kicks and sometimes the characters get stuck. It's likely player reports getting people banned.
just play on a low populated server, less likely imo, never been banned once, only ban ive received from Blizzard is D3, imo they monitor d3 a lot and pay more attention to it, i think they gave up on WoW after this release, the whole garrison thing is gay.. its like they mashed clash of clans in world of warcraft.. don't expect much from them anymore only to add things to ruin the game and take things out too, you can't even get the gold challenge from MoP, those probably were the coolest mogs and i only got one them.
My main account was banned 3 times in WotLK. First ban 24h, second 48h, third 72h. After that I quit WoW and did not come back until end of MoP. Things sure have changed.
I have been temped banned, and perm banned multiple accounts multiple times... but then again I also dont care if I do get perm banned.
I was perma-banned on my first violation and second vilation, which were respectively last month and this month, and both were for "using bots or automated software". So, yes.
