      How can i get my CC to do a charge back on rift? i tried today to get my 49.99 back when i first bought the game but they said they could not do a dispute they even went to trion website to look at the terms.

      Any Tips?

      if your bank is telling you that you cannot dispute the charges, you cannot dispute the charges. Period.

      Of course, you weren't really clear who "they" are though.

      Highly doubt your CC or bank will let you do that, you bought the game and got what you paid for, if you are doing this cause of a ban that will be hard to explain to them why you want to Charge it back

      At least I would hope they wouldnt let you, as I think that would basically be fraud

      You broke their terms of service, and everyone here and at Trion know you broke their terms of service, as well as you know you did.

      Pay the consequence, its not trion's fault you broke their rules, its yours. They owe you nothing back.

      no your wrong , the service you paid for has been rendered useless. you paid for software which can no longer be used. They have not provided proof of breaking ToS except a time stamp? good luck ive already started a charge back for monthly feeds and the 59 dollars my mastercard company is doing it for me :) trion can kiss my ass

      The service you paid for has been rendered useless by you breaking their terms. You only partially paid for software, you also were leasing a space to store your digital characters on their servers, as well as them leasing you time on their servers. Maybe you should read their ToS. They do not, ever, need to provide you proof that you broke their ToS. They can terminate your contract with them at any time, for any reason. Just as you can end your contract with them at any time, for any reason.

      I hope the credit card company denies your claim. You willingly broke Trion's policies and they cancelled your account. You knew from the start that this could happen. I fail to see how this is Trion's fault at all.

      Phaze your wrong, you paid for a digital software license which is no longer valid, Your not paying for time leased on their server you pay to use the software/service which is suppose to be provided. You cannot terminate a anyone with out just cause without proof. Doesnt really matter what you say lol if my credit card company has already started the charged back thats all the matters :)

      This is such a funny thread - anyone doing chargebacks on software you've already bought and used is committing fraud, simple as that, and can be fined/jailed for it.

      You bought the software, used it, cheated, got caught, and your account is banned - YOUR fault, YOU broke the ToS, Trion has done nothing wrong. You still own the software, you can still install it on your computer if you want to, if you bought the physical version you still have your disks and manuals and box - theres no way you can chargeback.

      Its like saying I bought a car and crashed it and it was my fault, but I want to get my money back from the dealership that sold it for me because ... because ... there is no reason, just because I want to defraud them :)

      P.S. No-one will be jailed for fraud for a $60 computer game, but legally fraud is fraud, and you can easily be fined/sued over it.

      To be honest, I have initiated a chargeback on my last one monthly fee that I paid for the day of the ban...

      I got maybe... an hour of use? When I paid for an entire month?

      Ya... It's worth a chargeback for me. HOWEVER, I will not be doing one for the game amount, or the other months of service.

      Doesnt matter, 1 hour or 30 days, you paid for a month, started using it, then YOU broke the ToS and got banned - chargeback after that is fraud.

      Actually even if you paid and never logged in once, and never used a bot, then did a chargeback thats still fraud - whether you used it or for what length of time doesnt matter, your account was active on Trion's servers so you got charged for it, simple as that, cant get a refund part-way thru a month, once you paid you paid.

      P.S. I have a WoW subscription that expires in September that I havent touched in 4-5 months, but I cant get my money back, I paid for it and its live on Blizzard's server, whether I use it or not is up to me.

      TECHNICALLY, your statement is false, since I did not break my ToS at the time of ban... and I had used Ryftomate 2 days before.,..when it last worked.

      So no, my reasoning is backed up with logic.

      I think your argument is logical. If they banned you when you broke the ToS that would be one thing, but to notate your account, fully know they were going to ban you, and then turn right around and bill you again (knowing full well they had every intention of banning you right after the billing even if you hadn't even logged in since then) that's another clearly different thing. (For instance, they clearly had already marked my account before the day they billed it, because they billed it, then banned it soon after when I wasn't even online.)

      I wouldn't do it, but I'm not going to admonish somebody else for it. If you EVER, EVER think you might try a Trion game in the future though be mindful that a chargeback is going to piss them off a whole lot more than you using a bot.
