I am considering starting to bot in Diablo 3 to sell stuff on the RMAH. However, i'm unsure if i risk blizzard banning my whole battle.net account. Can, or would they, under any circumstances ban a whole battle.net account with all games included?
It is up to Blizzard, some people have had a entire account banned. Some only the one license. If you bot in D3 they figure you are botting in WoW aswell.
I'm not sure. Personally I have been told by blizzard employees that they will only ban 1 license because the offense will only have occurred on 1 license. However now reports are surfacing of people having their mains banned because of "association with banned accounts" etc. Best policy is don't get caught at all
