I found a used WoW Legion for 20euros. What do I need to keep it 100% mine? I would want to know the email that registered it and the email password, the email secret question, battlenet password and secret question. I would also make sure the email is not attached to any other emails. I would then change the registration email password/secret question and battlenet password (i think secret q cant be changed) Anything else? Or wait, I can tie the account to another email adress via settings in battlenet, right? So i need the original mail just to log in and allow the change of email address? Is it necessary to know WoW registration code?
to keep it yours completely you will need a photo ID with the name of the person who orignally registered the account
Id never buy a used account unless im 100% postive that this person is trustable. Just to much trouble taking it back, and very easy for him to take it back.
Well, i have one WOD account that they gave for free with the movie ticket.... I just registered it without providing any real personal info. Just made a new email and registered it to it... If i sold it, for example, how could i provide a photo ID with my name....
All that will likely happen is you'll build up the account from scratch and the original owner will recall it, scoring himself whatever you've done in the process. I'd just pay an extra few euros and at least you'll be safe.
I was unaware this could be done. My comment clearly does not apply if your able to register with no name.
I bought an account once back in LK, the person that created it still managed to steel it back even though I have changed the Email. and security Questions 3 times. I thought I was safe from them, but they just had to call blizzard with the original information they created it with and they gave the account back to them. Lesson learned do buy an account from anyone, just make your own.
I did buy an account 4 years ago. On the selling forums there are people you can trust. I dont play anymore on that account, but i can still login and he havent asked it back. If you get a good seller (with high rep) then i'm pretty sure that you will keep the account
Oki, tnx guys. I bought the account. The goy sent me the photo of his ID card in case i got hacked. Prio rto payment, i sent him my freshly made email to attach battlenet to it
I'll be perfectly honest. If you buy an account from a reputable person and get a copy of their ID and the secret answer you should be fine. I know someone if you're willing to spend the money for the account and someone else for maybe a slightly cheaper price. I've bought a few for reselling and had them recall and bought an account for myself that got recalled but was covered by a warranty.
when you registered, were you just showing blizz that you attended the movie and was eligible to receive the key? or did you take the key and attach it to a bnet account. your use of the word registered is vague
I got a free WoW code on a leaflet. It was like, here is a ticket for the movie, and here is free WoW key...Just registered it and got WOD free. I made a new email and bnet, didnt attach to the existing one... On a side note....I botted to 80 on it and quit when the sub expired, which was a month ago... The account was not banned, which is another indication that the accounts which stopped botting a month ago survived. They used their scanning methods to collect info on botters in the last 20 days or so.....
