      Hey Guys,

I've just joined the botting community! so sorry if this is a double post. :)

My main concern is, can my main account which i've had for 5 years get banned even when i havened used the bot on that account?

      This is my situation.

Account1: my main account (me playing)
      Account2: botting account

Play account1, not botting, all honest hard work. Decide i wanna open my bot account.

Close game, delete WTF and Cache Folder, open game with honorbuddy, start botting with Account2.

If i want to go back to account1, close game, stop honorbuddy, close honorbuddy, delete WTF and Cache Folder, then reopen game and sign in with account1.

I havent have any interaction e.g gold trading, mining trading between both accounts.

These accounts are also not linked in battle.net either.

Could my main account get banned?

      Thanks,

Yes it is always a possibility but if you never bot on it and don't link the two accounts together an appeal would get you unbanned. While saying it's a possibility it is a low one.

Ok great thanks, any tips to keep my main account safe that you could recommend? I've seen that they use IP addresses, but, that's a bit unfair, if say, you have been to a LAN party and someone there has been botting, plus most ISP's update IP addresses every 3 days so i don't really believe that...

Could a potential excuse of 'me and my brother play on the same pc so if hes being botting, thats not my fault'?

want me to save you a lot of trouble? create 2 WoW's one for HB with no addons "so you wont get any errors or anything interfering" and one normal wow and you know the rest.
for isp's just get a 5$/month *** and whenever you want to bot just fire it up and connect yourself to it "or get something like hotspotshield or finally something like ***book which is free"

When botting your taking a risk...its like playing Russian Roulette with the account o_O
I own 2 different accounts, both on different Bnet username.
My main one i had since the vanilla days, ive botted on that one for a bit, then i turned chicken and bought a new account when the Battlechest were on sale. I was going to do RAF on that account but i got a feeling not to. So i payed for a new account, on my main when i want to play. logout switch to the bot account and start botting.
or you can invest on a laptop that can handle WOW and bot everywhere you go o_O

I got both a laptop only for botting & seperate wows on my PC (one for botting and one for play). I didn't get banned so far but I do turn a bit chicken these days since only 1 of my farming accs survived the start of ban rampage and it's located on my main bnet acc...I am still botting on it as we speak but I try to keep it low.
