Hello @ All I'm writing on a Advantage for the Rarekiller to get down Aeonaxx. Therefor I need some simple damage rotations for all classes (to kill the spawned welps) Something like this for Ele-Shaman: First Spell: Frost Shock and renew if buff is running out Use Unleash Elements if ready Use Lava Burst if ready Fill the Rest with Lightning Bolts. Just simple rotations to down some little mobs, these dragons are easy to kill. Yours sincerely katzerle

But if you don't kill the welps they will kill you while you are dpsing down the 700k live of Aeonaxx. So I have to implement: if no welp there --> damage to dragon. If there are welps --> kill them. You see that in the video also. The guy kills the welps because they are making the damage to you. They have 7k live -> easy to kill. And beside that I don't know if the normal CCs can handle this fight or if they simply do nothing, because you dn't get a "infight" while the ride of Aeonaxx. So I have to implement a little CC to kill also Aeonaxx to be sure this Plugin will work. I can't test the behavior of the CCs while the Ride, because Aeonaxx is ... not really a often seen Testobject.
I just thought if some people would help me, it would be quicker to implement this plugin I'm already looking to the other CCs, but its very timeconsuming. And I don't need such complicated Rotations do dps the welps and Aeonaxx down, I think. Hes a easy to beat once found, as i read.

Thank you very much - You really help me I have now implemented: Priest - all Specs Shaman - all Specs Mage - Arcane and Frost Warrior - Arms and Fury I first will implement a Testversion in the Rarekiller Plugin which is killing Chillmaw with his Adds with these Rotations and Upload it till this Weekend. Then again I will need some testers therefor because I only could test Priest and Shaman.

Can you not simply force targeting of the whelp, cast an initial spell and let the CC handle killing it like in your other plugin All your plugin would need to do is list the targets and work through them with aeonaxx as the lowest prio, the only issue with this would be as i read hunters and possibly some others need to turn around and face backwards to be able to hit him. Also i can confirm your thinking about the whelps, As a balance druid i killed them as they steadily spawn more and will overwhelm you if you dont kill them and there does appear to be no limit on how long you have to kill aeonaxx once your on him, I spent 30mins keeping the whelps under control and crusing around the zone setting off everyone elses NPCscan just to crush their souls when they get their hopes up and then realise id already beaten them to it
Maybe this is possible but how should I test if this works or if the CC simply does nothing? And I don't know if it works with every CC. As I see in the Movies you don't get a infight. ShamWOW will fight anyhow, but what about the rest? And I must force the Young Dragons as First Target. So the CC mustn't retarget.
i dont know if this crossed anyones mind, but you can force the Plugin to run the Current CC's Pull() to initiate combat. once combat is started honorbuddy should take care of it.
Oh, I didn't know that. Could you give me a Hint how to implement to use the CC Pull()? So I will implement only the Targeting-Thing and don't take care of any Rotation. Then the Testversion would be Ready till Friday EDIT: If I just Implement a Lua.DoString("StartAttack()"); Would HB then start fighting, too? Then the whole thing would be quite simple. And you can garantee me that everybody with also not so good equipped 85 char (also Mages and Priests and so on) could kill Aeonaxx without killing the Welps? I really want to write a Plugin which works for everybody.
