Hello! I used HB a long time ago. Recently I received a message from HB telling me that my HB-account had been compromised. I managed to change my password without any troubles, however, since I'm concerned about the safety and have no use for HB I'd like to delete the account. How do I do this? Have you tried sending an e-mail to support@thebuddyforum.com? They may be able to help you from there.
I believe they updated there minimum password requirements. If you didn't meet their criteria they sent out an email saying your account was vulnerable, not that it was actually compromised. They likely also gave you a generated reset password and said you can change it yourself to something you prefer.
Hmm, it is probably as you said McGibblet because that was the message I got. Probably an overreaction from my part. However, seems questionable that you shouldn't be able to delete your account from HB.
