Anyone else randomly getting the deserter debuff when using PvP bot? Im not sure why its leaving battlegrounds early but 15 mins is a lot of honnor/xp I could be getting..
Usually if you're getting that you need to setup your bot correctly, if you ignore it then it's a 3 hour ban sooner or later.
God PVP Bans usually always goes as follows, 3 Hour Ban (Automatic on X amount of reports or X amount of deserter debuffs) -> 24 hour Ban (most likely automatic) -> 72 hour Ban (most likely automatic) -> Final Review by AA or GM's for Perma Ban
The deserter is obtained from going afk (obviously) but just a few minutes ago I was in a BG botting on my level 85 with a few pieces of level 70 honor gear I hadn't replaced yet when I got placed into an entire BG full of assholes that told everyone to not heal me/report me for my HP and gear and a few seconds after I entered I had gotten deserter without going afk, so im assuming if just one or a few people report you then you get deserter. Some people are just true douchebags. If the above guy is correct, do me and azucar have a chance at being banned then? Never even considered it but I guess a report is a report
Yes they have improved the AFK thing in the last 6 months mostly because of people complaining about botters and wanting a report bot function, it's a lot more aggressive but people can abuse it.
