So I got perma banned, but appealed for 72 hours, I'm just wondering whether they will remove the items I had? Thanks
i doubt it.. what I can say for 100% sure is that if you have 2 accounts on the same bnet, and one gets banned, all the account bound stuff is still there... (pets, heirlooms, mounts etc...)
This is what I said, " Hi there, I was permanently banned without warning today while I was farming in Winterspring. I imagine the fact I haven't slept may have caused raised flags but would like to know why my account has been closed without even any warning?? Kind Regards, <NAME> " --------------- RESPONSE "Hello <NAME> Thank you for your contact! I would like to start by apologising for the time it took to get back to you. Having checked our records, I can see that your account has been detected using thrid party programs to automate the gameplay (commonly known as bots). As this was your first violation of the Terms of Use, I've decided to overturn this action to a 72 hours suspension. Consider this a final warning, any further violations will lead to the permanent account closure."
It depends on what you were farming and how thorough the investigation into your account was. During the valentine's day event, I farmed something like 30 lovebirds and had them sitting in my guild bank. When they banned me, they removed all the mounts and a couple of tabs worth of crap from my guild bank. That's the only time I've had items removed during a ban though.
I was multiboxing the bot account with RAF exp to high level so I could start farming. Its possible a player reported my multibox account as a bot, then when i actually did start botting, they may have been investigating it.
