Hello guys, i?m new here, and i wondered, how high is the probability to get banned for using Tyrael or something else like that. Not using any other bot. Can Blizz detect it anyhow? Greets
You are using the Bot. If you are using the bot, you CAN get banned. Theres just nothing more to be certain about, everyone saying "100% Banned" lies, and everone saying "0% Banned" lies. "If you bot, you will get banned - If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen." Do not use Honorbuddy on an account you can't lose. /out
This is how I see it, While using gatherbuddy or any other bot using movment a GM can pop in and just see that you are botting. If you are just using combat routines and you are controlling the movement it's a bit harder for them. They would have to rely on there system to detect the bot. So yes there is a chance of getting banned, But the chance is different from every patch and every update. I dont think it's worth it to them banning people from using a routine in my eyes, Alot of people i know uses them not because they want to be the best or anything, its because they have been playing wow since 2004 and there tired. (yes ive been in the same guild since 2004)
If someone uses Tyrael or Lazy Raider 100% of their botting time and get banned, it means the bot is not worth anymore... But probably nobody got banned for this. People get banned when movement, gathering and economy are involved....
Try Never, been botting since Wotlk, still not banned. just be dont be stupid with it. i bot herbing and mining but i put it all in my gbank and i get another guildie to make stuff, sell on ah we currently have 850k in the gbank.
what would you suggest for leveling, if you advice not to use Honorbuddy on an account that you can't lose? I watch the bot probably 98% time, I have it up on a separate monitor so I can constantly view it. I am currently only using Kick's profiles to level with a handful of monitoring plugins, and I only bot for 3-4 hours daily or sometime every other day. I read a lot about gatherbuddy or gathering profiles being probable cause for getting banned, would the same rules apply to gathering profiles if you were to watch them closely like I do questing? Or should I steer clear completely?
1. Combat assisting tools are very safe compared to all other forms of botting. Typically when people get banned while using them, this is a delayed ban from other forms of botting - BGBuddy, Profbuddy, Gatherbuddy. 2. Best ways to level are BGBuddy and Questing. Best AFK method is BGBuddy as it rarely needs supervision and Levelbot is so-so when it comes to AFK-ability, but is a bit faster. 3. Stay away from gathering. Blizzard have a server-side way to detect the behavior of Gatherbuddy even if it doesn't get stuck in trees.
