Donations

I'm curious as to why people don't purchase profiles, CCs, and plugins but "donate" for them. If selling on the forums is against the rules, why do they let people get away with using the word donate rather then buy?

 

look, i used to have a donation link in my signature, thats for if you want to support my projects.

nowhere EVER do i hint or ask "hey maybe you should donate" or "donate please". at no time should you feel pressured to donate.

the reason we don't let people buy or sell things here, is that your likely or they are likely to get ripped off or rip you off, and thats not something we wanna get in the middle of. there are other places online that can assume that responsibility, go there if you wanna buy and sell things.

if you wish to discuss the issue further feel free to pm me and i will answer whatever questions i can, but the topic to allow buying and selling is not up for discussion at the current time, and as such i have to insist this thread remain closed at this time.
