Drivers And Attachement

So ,let's say i ignore the current issue which doesnt let me ,atleast,launch honorbuddy everytime i went to launch it,it said that it needs to be attached on a wow process and it's not attached.I read somewhere that i had to update my drivers,but since i have an hp laptop,i cannot use amd's drivers(which are the correct drivers in my case).Thus,i can only have the drivers up to the date that my laptop provider,hp, has them updated for this device.So my question is,is it true that i need to have the drivers up to date in order to run correctly honorbuddy?or it's not a necessity.P.S All this has been caused today,before the update released.Now that the update released i crash after i click to run honorbuddy
