Dumb friend just got banned. he blamed HB and not the list of things he did wrong. blizzard sent tracking stuff to his house and that is how he got caught. 1) Using Rare mounts when farming (ashes) fire bird stands out. 2) Using same mount as 1000 other bots (sky golem) . 3) Using over used public profiles ( chain of 3 or 4 Sky Golems using jumpy plugin ). 4) Pointing out, Bitching at, or reporting other botters . 5) Botting 24 / 7 . 6) Running dungeon bot teams non-stop. 7) Running Battle grounds / arenas. 8) Selling 100s of stacks in the Auction house. 9) Selling bulk 1000s of mats in Trade ( not hard to spot a botter selling 5000 Foxflower at 1 time ) 10) MAILING 1000s of mats or 100,000s of gold around. 11) Fighting with people your selling bulk too ( give them a reason to report you ) Blizzard does not need proof. all they need is a reason to look at your account. anyone who reports you for standing out and being dumb can give blizzard a reason to look at you. ****** you never know he might be right.. blizzard sent out nanite's across the world and is tracking us ****** for all the crazy people ......blizzard is not really tracking you and there are not any nanite's
Ive been botting since vanilla on glider, pirox and honorbuddy. Not even 1 ban and done all of those. Im using a super good strategy that always works for me, its called luck.
If you're going to gather, don't use a free public profile with 50k downloads. Make your own or pay a little more for something that can randomize your movements.
Also if you see others doing the same path. do something else. And being polite or otherwise good behavior in game helps you not to get reported. Rogue botting days in MOP were horrible for botters getting greedy and reporting other botters to try to free spots up.
