I turned on dungeonbuddy and it went to the repair guy, i thought it was going to repair, but then i look back and it sold ALL of my cata herioc gear along with my new Mop gear. EVERYTHING. I just filed a ticket but WTH? how am i supposed to explain that to a gm, and why the hell would it do that? It left all the cloth and my potions and shit but all of my gear?? I haven't changed any settings from earlier, and after looking over the bot settings there are none that mention anything of this nature... I need some answers because that was fucked up.. Hopefully i get my gear back otherwise I will rage dude. Thats months of time into not only transmog but other gear and items that are still useful after Mop...
Or you could just used the automated process https://us.battle.net/support/en/restoration Also there is no way the bot took off your gear just to sell it. Unless you were already running around naked.
I forgot to mention that he didnt sell the gear on me, just all my sets in my bags. (dps/tank) i was wearing my pvp set. It sold everything including my Mop epics to the vendor. It left a 397 trinket and some boots along with windwool cloth and some potions & unsellable items. But it sold all of my armor that is even useful in Mop, along with all of my transmog items. I did file a ticket, and hopefully it will get me my items back, i will look into the automated support after this. I'm just confused as to how and why it would do this. I've been using this program for over a year now with no problems like this. Any ideas why it would do this? I had it running on bgbuddy earlier today for hours with no mishaps, and then when i came back all of honorbuddy was shutdown(some how) and i restarted to do dungeonbuddy and it did this.. I would just like some advice as to why it did this and how i can prevent it from happening again..
Just an update, it did sell all of my epics and a lot of Mop Blues. I got everything back with the automated process thank god. If you could look into it i would appreciate it, i didnt get a log as i should have, but If you could find the bug I'm sure you could save a lot of people hassle in the future. I can only recover my items once a month so hopefully it doesn't happen again!!
its strange the bot sell all the epics and blues, since you need to writhe delete in confirmation box.
Not to bring up a potentially old issue or anything, but this happened to me aswell Log: Line of Interest: 2300 There is not much to see though but just to be thorough I should say that I was using a BETA version of HB. EDIT: I don't know if this was JUST implement in the JUST newly released version of HB but, my "Maximum Vendor Item Quality" was on Rare by default. This might be a whole new feature because I don't remember this being there when changed the DB settings. If this is not new, It's my own fault I lost my items, if it's new: THANKS, very much needed
Wouldn't surprise me, i did notice a lot of oddball changes with honorbuddy via version .516 haven't looked at version 517's scripts. then with the patch , the bot might not even be able to tell whats an epic anymore.
