Wtf is going on with DungeonBuddy? Countless issues have been reported over the last couple months since 5.4 was released, and Highvoltz is nowhere to be found. Is this bot being developed by somebody new? If not - can it be? We're still limited to Wing 1 LFR in SoO and it still can't proceed after first boss unless you stop/start. I have no problems with patience, but there are no responses, no ETAs, nothing that I've seen from anybody that matters.

I'd assume he is working on bugs. There is only one of him to go around for all the work that needs to be done on his end. As for ETA it's hard to put a specific date on looking throught a million lines of code to find a bug. Same reason software and game release dates are delayed.

I appreciate your response, but if I wanted more uninformed assumptions I would've added to the countless posts in the DungeonBuddy thread. I'm looking for an official response on this since nobody seems to be monitoring the DB thread. And since this got moved, I guess we're not going to get one.

      Fucking bullshit.

Development for Dungeonbuddy dungeon scripts (esp LFR) is on hold atm because questing takes priority and needs fixing.

It's really not a assumption it's just common sense. Maybe you should try finding some.

Then hire/find someone willing to give DB the attention it needs and deserves.

Hmmm Cukie I believe that is why I purchased a HB key in the fist place.

I think the thing people have a little anxiety about is that questing profiles are regularly submitted and produced by some talented members of the community. If you're willing to learn how to write it, you can make a questing profile with some trial and error.

Conversely, DB LFR profiles are not submitted by the community and seemingly, HighVoltz is the only one who really knows how to create them and incorporate them into the bot. I understand that questing is a priority, but at least that priority can be addressed by several members of the community, while DB scripts (which really DO need some love) are completely dead until HighVoltz can take a look at them. It's tough to address all of the needs of the community, but DB seems like it's becoming a major reason why people buy and use HB.

      Just my 2 cents.

You bought a key for official botbases.

Dungeonbuddy is a project by Highvoltz and is only shipped with honorbuddy because it was developed and maintained by a staff member.
This is why we direct all support requests and problems to the dungeonbuddy thread.

Highvoltz develops for dungeonbuddy when he has time to do so.
Though, I'll ask him about it and his plans.

No offense but how can you say why he purchased HB? I have referred a few people myself to HB for the sole purpose of DungeonBuddy running LFRs for them every week to Valor cap. They don't use HB for any other purpose at this point on time.
I am sure once they get the hang of it they will use HB to its full potential, but to say people only purchase it for official botbases couldn't be further from the truth.

Use your brain. He means what they advertise you will get by buying a key.

He's not saying that the reason people bought the bot was only for the botbase. He is saying we only bought the right to a working botbase, anything outside of that, isnt their problem.

Seems I must make myself clearer.
I mean that you paid for "official botbases."

Botbases that ship with honorbuddy such as Dungeonbuddy and Professionbuddy are "side projects" by staff.

I spoke with Highvoltz and as I suspected, he is working on questing.
Right now, Kick's profiles are not where we want them to be and we are making changes to the profiles as we encounter the bugs that require them.
This is taking priority over LFR scripts.

I agree that most people buy Hb only for doing RaidFinders. DungeonBuddy needs to get improvement.
As well, dont froget for the people that live in Germany, who dont even have a Questing bot. Would your work right now benefit them? Dont think so.
      Please keep that in mind...

I too am interested in a good working DB, but I also realize that the team cannot work on 2 big projects at the same time without a huge investment in personnel. This does not seems to me like something we can reasonably expect. I'd rather have them finish the questing project in a good way, better then leaving it full of holes again and starting on something new. Right now, it looks they are doing something about questing. In the meantime, people should make a list of their grievances about DB and LFR, preferably in a central place. I just hope the mods do not close the thread under the pretext that it is a support matter.

Germany is in the minority here. The rest of the world can questbot and we want it fixed. I'm to paranoid about dungeons as it is. I would never bot them and unless they make the bot perfect. You will look like a bot and get reported and banned. Just a imo but thats what i've seen.

I use the questiong bot at LEAST than any other bot. Besides, i think it works fine as it is right now.
The most important bot for me is the Raid Finder, as i simply dont have time to que as a dps and then spend hours in a single raid.
Updating the quest bot is good, but in my opinion it should get less attention than RaidFinder.

There is a very small chance that you will get reported in RaidFinder, since actually the bot does fights and tacts better than some active players. lol
