Experienced Botters - How long after ban-wave do you wait to start up again?

I'm slow to realize what others did several hammers ago - HB is detected - and it's just about squeezing as much profit as you can out of the 6 month ride in between waves.

 

I wounder this to, since I dont care about that I got banned, you just lost you character(s) and the gold on the chars so what? Im just bought a new one + got a 100level boost, so Im also wounder when its "safe" to start botting again

 

If the HB team leaves the bot as it is I might start again tomorrow morning.

 

I usually wait about a week, assuming the bot is still up.

 

Also banned untill june 2016. Im honestly getting bored of wow anyhow. Time to look for a new game or hobby to keep me busy

 

Usually they will make a post when they have investigated the cause of the banwave and discovered how the detection occured and taken steps to rectify the safety of the bot. The will of course state it at your own risk blah blah blah, but after that its as safe as it usually is. ie. sorta, kinda, if your lucky ...you get the picture.

 

Yeah basically I think you would be foolish to try and bot for a while.

Blizzard will likely be watching anybody they banned making new accounts. Since we basically know they can detect HB running it now would be really playing with fire.

 

Why would they want to do that? They have a "switch" now. A switch they use just before every major patch. They don't have to watch accounts, that's way too much micromanagement work. They simply flick the switch, detect everyone, flick the switch back off again and a couple of weeks later do a huge purge and ban them all.

I predict that the next wave will not be in 6 months. It'll be just after 7.2 hits us. And HB doesn't have a clue what's happening.

Yip. In reality they haven't got a clue. If they did, this wouldn't be happening over and over again. And it's no coincidence that this happens with every major WoW patch.

 

It depends on the reaction of the buddy Team.

the bot gets detected every 6 months. like clockwork. we knew the risk. we knew the pattern. we bot anyways because we love it. face it. addiction is a disease.

ofc ive got backup accounts that are just getting off suspension from the last suspension.
