I have never been banned before, never got a warning. I'm rly tired of gearing (pvp) myself. After the banwaves I didn't want to bot anymore, but damn I miss good ol' buddy. If I start botting again and I get caught, does blizz always start with a temp ban? And do I lose everything I then recently botted or do they leave it as is?
Blizz has never been, nor will they ever be, static in their ways. There's no guarantee that they give you a temp ban to start. Although one person got a 3 day ban it doesn't mean that you'll get a 3 day ban. Some GM having a bad day may just perma-ban you right off the bat. If you get caught in a banwave you'll most likely lose all gold, honor and other currencies. There's also the possibility that you lose all gear, too, but we won't know until the last banwave's suspensions start ending. Blizz didn't start removing gold and other currencies until a couple days before the suspensions were ending. You may want to do some research in the ban reports forum before you consider pvp botting though.
Thanks for you reply. Another Question which is related, do we know if blizz can detect the bots themselves or is it still 99% player reports/hours online etc.
if you get a 3 day ban its likely they kinda know you are botting but they are not too positive where they will ban you permanent, after the 3 days they will most likely be monitoring you very closely though..
