First ban for me. I'm surprised it happened on this character, not one of my others. This one did farm most, but I never received any whispers or the kind. I guess Uldum is a killer. Anyways, here's the form: 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Gatherbuddy 2 2)If so, when was the last time?: Yesterday 3)What profile were you using?: Can't remember who's Uldum Profile it was. It's been renamed in my folder and it's been such a long time I downloaded it. Uldum herbing + mining anyway. 4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Singular Paladin (Retri) 5)What plugins are you using?: I got no plugins enabled 6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: Varied a lot. From 3 to 12 hours a day, only when I was awake myself. 6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 80% roughly. I had my 3 bots open on my 2nd monitor all the time so I could reply to whispers. 7)How many auctions per day did you have?: 0, I don't do auctions. I have private buyers. 8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? Nope. Just Gatherbuddy2 9)Was your account involved in gold selling? The License, no. The battle.net account? Yes. I have 1 battle.net account with all my toons and bot characters on. I might now make a seperate battle.net account just for botting purposes. Not to fussed in the long run. 10)EU or US realm? EU There you have it. I still have one account I keep botting loads, we'll see when a ban hits that. I always thought what it would feel like to get a ban. In all honesty? I'm at work right now, so I can't even play and I read the message here. Not bothered at all about this. We will see what happens if my main account gets a ban.
Uldum huh? My bot just got hit too and he was always in uldum. I was going through other ban reports and bunch were in uldum. Makes me think if thats an easy place to bot in comparison to others and they are really watching it. I have seen a couple of other bots as well on my realm so who knows.
I also received my first ban a few weeks ago after botting for 5 years with no suspensions or bans or anything. I was also botting in Uldum for the first time the day i got banned. I have a STRONG gut feeling that botting in Uldum isn't safe, for whatever reasons.
Its because its the most easy place to bot since the profiles there are flawless and the profit is decent, almost no matter what server, so many people do it = a place where people who like to report bots are!
Well its not sure, but from what I have seen, the chance IS higher in Uldum, but ofc I might be wrong =)
Simply means more gold for me I'm sort of glad it's a temp only, so I can keep botting on that account. Still have my other 9 to abuse, and 1 main to keep arenaing on
See in Uldum, people like to uncheck the ninja nodes option. When someone is killing a mob and you land and jack there node because you are to greedy to turn on player detection. They will report you and you deserve the ban. Turn on player detection and you will be fine. I have been in Uldum everyday for months now on a 30k+ High pop server and have never had a whisper, ban due to it or anything. But i see a ton of morons ninjaing nodes and they do not stay around long before they are banned.
remember this is a 72h temp ban for use third party programs. mean this account is marked. if you get caught the second time it will be a perm for sure! a 72h economy ban is something you can write a email and they mostly unban this account in a short time, cause it was triggerd from an automatic system, they check and mostly cant hold the decision from the system so they unban. But if you get caught with third party program or hacks or something it will be automatic marked and second time permed!
Actually, I've unchecked Ninja nodes since I have two toons farming in Uldum. My farmer ignores nodes that are being farmed. 10/10 otherwise.
