Two of my five accounts were banned today. I appealed one of them, and was rejected. They initially stated '3 day suspension', but when I checked 3 days later, they had changed them to a permanent ban. A follow up to Blizzard saying 'what gives?' after the 72 hour mark resulted in no reversal, even though it's the first time they detected it. I do not do 'stupid' botting - I use private profiles I make myself, or Kick's questing profiles. I'm also not on 24/7. Unfortunately for me, those two accounts were family member accounts, and had that 'promise to subscribe for a year and we'll give you a mount' bonus. The battle.net site removes the 'cancel subscription' button in this case, and forces you to pay for the remainder of the year, even though you can't play the accounts any more. I've cancelled the subscriptions for the rest of my family members, just to avoid getting the 'locked into paying even though suspended' state that those two banned accounts are in. Everyone that bots, knows the risk we take. And it's been worth it - for me, I've had a TON more fun creating custom classes and botting the game, than actually playing the game. WoW makes you work so hard, to achieve so little, it's gratifying to obtain an in-game boost via botting. They're almost ASKING for botters, by turning their original fun game into World of Slavecraft. I don't know if I'll continue playing WoW any more, with two family members knocked out like this. Until I decide to leave permanently, I'll continue to provide support for FightThisWay, FightHere, and HotspotRecorder.
Cancel the credit card with your provider and get new one. Problem solved on the paying for something you cannot use.
