FYI: Auto-AFK

I just noticed with the recent patch they put in an auto-AFK flag. I also noticed while fighting, if you just let reborn buddy run, that after 10 minutes of not touching your keyboard, the AFK symbol will go up next to your name. (it auto removes your afk if you use your keyboard) This could look somewhat suspicious to other players. Someone could question how you are fighting without using your keyboard.

You can go into your system configuration >> other settings >> Time before Auto-AFK and set this to Off.

Just a heads up. Not sure if this is a real issue or not.

 

Ahhh thanks for the heads up man. Hopefully everyone takes care of this in the settings that way the bot isnt revealed

Because of the fate bot I can tell all of the people on my server that is using rebornbuddy. If you see a guy who get on his chocobo when fate mob has died but have not respawn and then dismount when the fate mob appears, its likely that he is using rebornbuddy.

 

The real question would be even though you could turn off the AFK notification for other people to see, does it mean that SE would still know that you haven't touch your keyboard but still moving?
