so i've just bought rebornbuddy .. and i entered the game which eventually patching after maintenance .. but the client keep crashing after few mins of running hearthbuddy ... i'm running combat assist / mud assist bot when the game crashed View attachment 4652 2015-07-28 17.12.txt
looks like it's crashing when it's attacking when you're using that combat routine, try using this one https://www.thebuddyforum.com/rebor...es/189786-ultima-ultimate-combat-routine.html Since I do not see any conflicts, that's my best advice.
I too have been having issues today with the game crashing on me. It will work for a bit if I am doing something and then crash. Be that combat, fishing, crafting. If I just have the bot open and not doing anything with it (like the log file shows below), it will eventually go and give the above message and crash. I've reinstalled the whole thing from scratch (clean version) and it has not fixed the issue. Is anyone else having this problem? Connection problems to the RB server? or is this my end? This begun to happen right after the update. I am not sure that RB had an update today after the weekly FFXIV maintenance. The bot seemed to be compatible (no message saying it wasn't and the program not working) after the update. Any help would be appreciated.
I think you are on to a winner. If for some reason the issue returns, I shall update. Thus far however, removing the GatherAssist seems to have worked. Thank you.
The joy was short lived. After trying to do some basic kills it would just give the Invalid Session error and crash. Please someone help me I am running out of ideas now
so I was on windows 8.1 .. i just reinstalled back into win 7 and all work perfectly fine .. no crash .. umightknowhatididntknowsowhatthen? ..
Regardless of how many times I reinstall my bot from scratch, it just keeps on crashing and goes to Invalid Session. I've not done anything recently with my pc (changed it in anyway) so I don't understand why it now is doing this. I seem to be able to leave the bot open for about 20 mins before it gives me the following error... The log for the above session (which pretty much applies for any as of this point) doesn't show me anything that I can pin point. Is anyone else having this issue? It is just getting a little frustrating to not be able to fix this issue. Thanks in advance for whatever help anyone can give me.
My suggestion would be to do another fresh install with zero added plugins, routines or profiles. Just the basic bot. Start a test for 30 mins, if you get the issue still with no addons to the bot then it has to either be your connection (possible win10 download interference?) or your hardware or the bot itself. No sure that it could be the bot itself since mine has been running perfectly since before and after i updated from win7 to win10 this morning. If there is no crash with that first test, start adding each addon in one by one (make sure you have them updated aswell) and perform a 30min test with each one.
I'll try doing that. I am still running windows 8.1. The sad thing is that everything had been running so smoothly until after FF14 maintenance. Be back with update.
Well, this is the most concerning thing ever. I tried doing what Deflama suggested only to be stopped at my first hurdle. Installed a clean version of the bot with NOTHING other than the bot itself. No plugins, No Profiles, No routines. Just clean as it is given in the download section. Within 20 or so minutes, Invalid Session occurred. Didn't bother using the bot, just left it open to see if it would happen again. Any suggestions? Edit: I also just tried to install a previous version of the Bot (Rebornbuddy 1.0.302.0) which then proceeded to update. Left it open and the same thing happened. The bot has become totally unusable for me even though it worked so well previously. Do I need to escalate this issue via email or wait for a response from someone? I am just not sure what the procedures are in these situations. Thanks to all for the help and advice. Much appreciated. Any ideas anyone has, please feel free to pass them on. At this point I am open to try them out.
Hmm ok so that rules out any plugins etc. From what ive read about with invalid sessions for honorbuddy its most likly a network issue. Some people solve it by flushing the DNS. Another person solved his issue by changing his dns server to googles dns servers via:
Seems to have done the trick. I've been running the bot for an hour with all things included and no Invalid Session as of yet. Thank you so much for your help Deflama. I don't quite understand how I was able to use the bot before and then it stopped.
