Hi, I've been trying to power though botany by using White Myst's Gather Bro Profiles and they seem to work great about halfway through the 5 levels they're made for. What i'v noticed around the half way mark though is i start seeing a lot more "you gather nothing" followed by the message "the location affects the number of your gathering attempts" (I try to maximize my gathering XP by using the Grand Company Gathering Buff that increases XP by 50%) I'd like to create profiles for second half of the grind but am having issues. When i try to create a profile using Mastahg's quick guide i am able to select the nodes, and what i want to gather but when i select "create arch" my CPU usage goes up to 100% and reborn goes unresponsive. Is this supposed to happen? I run the new i7-4790K so i dont think processing power is an issue. is my profile just to complicated? what i can i do to make a simple profile? If this question is too difficult to answer is there anything i can do to stop getting the "the location affects the number of your gathering attempts" message? Thanks for reading!
Have you tried creating an Orderbot profile to gather for you. Please reference https://www.thebuddyforum.com/rebor...des/173172-creating-profiles.html#post1597817 I just updated this with a step by step guide to creating your own profile. It even includes a template.
I'm not too familiar with orderbot but will give it a shot, I'm not particularly good with setting up any kind of gathering/grinding profile yet and am trying to learn thanks!
Ha, that's funny. They didn't have any "Maximum number of gathers in a given location" when I made those profiles back in January. Looks like SE is on to us.
Yeah, hopefully if possible I'll figure out what I'm doing wrong with the profile creator or learn order bot I can think of a few HQ items I'd like to farm at the lower levels that profile's don't exist for. they're still great for farming for the first 2 1/2 levels just after that seems to get brutal. I wont complain if you make more profiles XD
I used your template in the link you provided and filled in all the information happy to say my bot is doing very well so far. So thanks! Quick question: would it be possible to get the bot to activate stealth if enemies are within a certain range, and could it differentiate between passive and aggressive mobs?
I am glad that your profile is working for you. I think stealth is either an on or off activity right now.
