Anyone started to put together a list of gear that is obtainable via the AH to ease with the grinding / farming in Cata? The good ole wrathful set isn't going to cut it passed 82 really, not with the way the gear ramps up so fast.
The hardened set is wearable at 80. While the redsteel scales from 80 to 84. If you mine, do suicide runs in mt hijal till get few full bags of obsidium (Suicide runs = wait for rez off, repair off, gather with broken gear) When have enough obsidium move to uldum. Use thaicons profile for mining. Gather there for about day. At end of it you will have at least 1 lvl and enough mats to make 2 sets plus put ore on ah. Once have full set then quest do what you want. Woot woot.
I ended up having enough mats from previous days farming ot make all the redsteel stuff, plus pickup a few other pieces for 81-82. Now jus to get to 83 to wear the helm and chest. Moved from 48k to 52k hp before helm and chest. Need to get higher
If I could just get a decent macro for DPS or they finally stuff GB as a plugin for HB where I can use custom classes, all would be well in the world
