Getting banned right after buying tokens

Anyone else's bots get banned after buying tokens? happened to me several times now, so i'm wondering if its just a coincidence or they do that to everyone

 

Already grabbed about 4 tokens. no bans. I only grab them when I need them. I don't buy a lot at once.

I bought a token on my bot only account (battlechest up to MoP) about 2 weeks ago and it's fine.

 

Awesome, thank you for sharing guys. More reports please, so far had some PMs confirming my theory, but we need more reports to form some decent statistics.

 

So, your hypothesis is that they ban all who buy tokens? Man then all 8 accounts of mine are banned right now. That's weird though, since I'm logged in on all of em.

 

his hypothesis is that if you buy en masse it could easily be a trigger. Why wouldnt it. if blizzard were a gambling man, the safe b et would be that banning people who buy a buncha tokens will actually MAKE them way more than it would lose them.

I know I bought a dozen and was promptly banned for the first time ever on 2 accounts.

 

They are not just banning people for the purchase of any amount whether large or small of tokens. Though it may flag your account for investigation. But an investigation is just an investigation, depending on your botting habits you may red flag straight away. So if you don't think the way you use HB would stand up to a routine investigation don't buy tokens.

All in all its pure theory as we don't work for Blizzard's anti third party team.
