So I'd like to get 16k to my main character in order to buy the tundra mammoth, preferably by mail. What do yall think the best way to do this is? Or whether I should even do anything special at all... I've heard of people getting banned for mailing large amounts of gold, but I don't know how much they got banned for nor if it was on the same account, like my situation. I'd prefer not to use the GB, because my main is in an actual guild opposed to my own private one. Any suggestions?
If its on the same account = no biggie, absolute no ban If its across different accounts with the same name = no biggie as well Different accounts with different names = Possibility of a ban.
If on different accounts with different names: Post a few items you have farmed on AH for low prices(as in very low). Ofc, not too many items at a time Immediately buy said items on your main account(can't flag your main account for being an auction whore at least^^). Save some items, post some on AH from main account at normal price. Again, not too many at a time. Don't want to inflate the market. Post saved items when the rest has sold, but at a higher price. Buy with bot account. Save the items you bought on the bot account for a while. Post other items in the mean time. Rinse/repeat. Take some time to transfer large amounts but worked for me back in the day. In the long run, this could get your bot account flagged, but your main account should still be safe.
that's pretty ingenious, I would have never thought of that. Being that my gold is all on one account I won't be needing that method but damn, that's a good idea lol. Thanks to everyone who offered me advice =D
