      Ok so my wife got a full size Comp tower for Xmas. Any recommendations on what i should put in it to make it a BADASS gaming PC ?

      Far too overkill, in fact you'd bottle neck the CPU with that much RAM :D

      Case: NZXT Phantom
      CPU: Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz and overclock to 4GHz
      Mobo: Asus Sabertooth TUF x58
      RAM: Mushkin 6GB Redline Ridgeback Triple Channel 6-8-6-24 timings.
      CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
      Primary Drive: Mushkin Calliston Deluxe 80GB SSD.
      Secondary Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB HDD with 64MB Cache.
      GPU: EVGA GTX 570 or 580
      PSU: Corsair 850watt Modular
      ROM: Any SATA based ROM drive.

      This system is sufficient enough for many, many bots and is an excellent all round machine for gaming and general office use.


      PS. Before any says that nlr was being sarcastic let me point out I was as well...
