I was given this e-mail as an explanation English speaking customers: Please refer to the start of this mail Para los clientes espa?oles: Por favor vayan hasta el fin de este email ***Notice of Account Closure*** Account Name: WOW1 Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks") This account was closed because one or more characters were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack." These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harms the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game. Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment. We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: Gold Buying and Power-Leveling - Battle.net Support The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment:Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure. I have put in another ticket saying that I never used any bots. This is my first time getting banned for anything so i have no idea what to do. Any advice? I was using honorbuddy to get hp and kick's profile to lvl up 2 toons.
Call them and maintain you didn't use any cheats, you love playing wow & want to keep playing but there's no way you could ever afford a new account. Basically tell them they will lose you as a customer if the acct stays banned. Get mad about the situation but not verbally abusive towards the rep on the phone. Weird how such a large percentage of these bans occur to people with brand new HB forum accounts.
I'm guessing he had just created his WoW account, new accounts have a much larger chance to get flagged. Though this could be solved if the autoreply plugins were picked up again, cause thats the main reason why people suspect you botting if you are running around killing/herbing/mining and not responding to a whisper.
actually i have made my account in 2010 and have been playing on and off. so calling them works better than tickets? and they have no ways to find out if i was botting or not correct?
That is wierd, you had have to be doing something really wierd to get banned. I bot every night on my chars and I have made it 2 weeks now
