  • guys, this is very annoying! VIRUS!

      after new version of hearthbuddy released, now my windows detected virus in hearthbuddy, trojan:Win32/codinx.B!cl~ and keep request for restart to remove it.
      anyone have the same problem like me?:confused:

      I am also having this issue. Can't find a fix.

      And are you sure its safe to allow this exception? I am using windows defender, says the alrt level is severe..

      If you are unsure you can upload the suspicious file to virustotal to check it against more the 20 anti-virus / anti-trojan programs.
      When the majority of these programs gives a green light it is most likely a false positive as Tony said.
      How to set a exception rule can be found in the documentation of any Anti-Virus software.

      okay the windows defender is very annoying always found false positive virus, so it is unable to deactivate itself and i found a way to trun it off:

      go to your start and search: regedit.exe and open it.

      in regedit go to:
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mic*rosoft\Windows Defender

      Right Click-->New-->Add a new DWORD and name it DisableAntiSpyware

      Double Click on it and change the value to 1.

      these will enable or disable Windows Defender

      0 = On
      1 = Off

      tats it, then i install avira free anti virus and it works great!

      you can add exceptions instead :)
