Out of curiosity, does anyone know whats happening in raiding guilds right now? With the HUGE number of people that were banned for 6 months, a lot of members of raiding teams will likely of gone with it! Yes some people dont bot on their main account but I am sure a lot of other people do. I wonder how much of a nightmare it has been for guilds to re-arrange and re recruit and whether this has slowed down progression much. Any thoughts? Is there a way of seeing how many guilds are recruiting on wowprogress compared to a few weeks ago?
Many normal, heroic and even low end mythic guilds were having a ton of trouble fielding a capable roster in the first place. For a guild to suddenly have even 2 core people go missing for 6 months is devastating and could even mean the guild doesn't raid because they don't have the numbers required or a suitable comp. In the current state of WoD if a guild has any sort of conflict, it doesn't just mean heavy recruitment, it means that the guild falls apart. I can imagine tons of guilds will being to fall apart come tuesday because that will be the first lockout they wont be able to field a viable roster to raid with.
My friend told me that one of the tops guilds on the server loss their tank in the wave. So they recruited him. Our previous guild disbanded due to too many players on the mythic roster getting the hammer. I think it was 4 of the cores that got hit.
My guild lost a couple heroic raiders, we pugged two or three people for mythic every week. Fairly casual in the grand scheme of things but it was a pretty big blow to our mythic recruitment.
on my server, guilds fall into 3 categories. guilds not doing anything heroic guilds stuck with not enough people for mythic so they are stuck on 7-9/10H mythic guilds that are on hiatus because raiders have lost interest with the content while raiders fall into 3 categories raiders who do LFR raiders who are carrying other players raiders who no longer raid.
I'm the only one out of mine and as the GM/RL, it wasn't a loss, they are going strong and I'll be raiding with them again by Tuesday.
Lost our RL and 2 heals in one of my raids. We disbanded for good yesterday night, 2 of the non-botters from said raid cancelled their subs already. My other raid lost 3 top dps. RL said he's going to try to replace them, but he is not going to put too much effort in it. If it takes too long or gets too annoying he considers disbanding the raid. Well..
we have mythic clear since months and i was the only one who got banned (for garisonbot). i have the possibility to level a new char and getting equipped but i didn't make the decision by now.
