First off, I'm not going to claim "i know someone from Blizzard". Nobody will believe me. Lets just say i know somebody who knows exactly whats going on here.

In 7.3 Blizzard ported over their Overwatch obfuscation. As I'm sure you are already aware, this is some pretty hard to get passed stuff. It's made it so EVERYTHING is detectable without some SERIOUS workarounds, and just like Overwatch, if something is undetected, it's not for very long. Because of this most cheat providers flat out refuse to make overwatch Hacks/Aimbots.

Why are Blizzard adding this obfuscation to WoW? Why not Diablo? It's quite simple actually. Last weekend we had the first round of the Mythic Dungeon Invitational. Blizzard are making a serious push to turn PvE into an E-Sport. And with all E-Sports, there needs to be legitimacy. These tournements are competed online instead of in a LAN environment which means people will be able to use third party software to gain an unfair advantage. This is Blizzards attempt to stop it.

You can already see, that a month after 7.3, Honorbuddy still has no finish line in site in terms of an update. I would expect it to stay this way. Remember when the Overwatch Aimbot was being detected days after an "update"? Expect the same for WoW now.

Sorry to say it guys, but botting is dead unless NEW METHODS in terms of security is developed.

I don't really care if you believe me or not, but i figured i'd give it to you real.

Blizzard should just let us botters have our own playground server(s) so the legitimate players can be happy we're not eating their Kit Kat bars. Win win for all and Blizzard still makes money.

That won't work. Who would buy the gold and for what end? You would basically have bot servers.

This is very interesting. It would be nice if Bossland just announces this so people can stop waiting for an announcement. It has been over three weeks now that the bot has been down and TBH I moved on to something else because the last thing I want to do is watch paint dry. This is exactly what it looks like here.

LOL blizzard pushing wow as an esport? Wow is as fucking dead as it gets in terms of being watched online, nobody gives a shit for it.
I bet that without the botters, it would finally die as a whole, that shit grinding fiesta of a game.

I have faith in the HB team, tbh. They've always come through before.

Same here. We have been at death's door before and we kicked the door in. Hoping we can do it again.

If the bots are dead, why do others work? And new projects Combat Routines on a 64 bit client. I think that Honorbaddy will have a big update. When will he come. A lot of work to improve the bot. It's time. Because in some questions competitors are coming on the heels. This is just my opinion. But in the section of Combat Routines it is. Many who did before on the platform honobaraddy went to do under others. I myself use 2 different Combat Routines from different developers on different platforms. I am pleased with this competition.

Truth is HB could do a release now if I understand them correctly but it would be detected as possibly are other bots right now. Blizz likes to collect and do mass bans. They could be waiting for HB to do a release right now to see if they have figured it out or not. HB is the major player right now and the targeting is squarely on them.

The issue is one of security. Detectable or not detectable.

You mean you read on a forum elsewhere and are trying to stroke your ego by pretending you have connections. :p

Completely agree to you, this will be one of the biggest updates released.. Else HB wouldn‘t spend that much work in to that project. I‘m not sure but i think HB is the biggest bot Bossland has and they don‘t give up that easy, just be patient.

A little pity that the process of analyzing the update is so closed. People are nervous about the lack of information. I do not see what's wrong with being more open minded. Tell more about progress. To conduct a dialogue with users.

There is still active hacks for overwatch, And HB has the talent to come up with something. The only problem is whats stopping blizzard from purchasing the bot for reverse engineering. There really isnt, that may need to be changed before release. Im all for ID verification or anything to make the purchases monitored in some way to tell if its a blizzard employee. Thats how many "cheats" stay safe

I agree that more information would be great -- the thing is, how can they do that while still keeping progress under wraps? If they say too much publicly, Blizz catches on and can preemptively act to ward off HB code.

OP doesn't know jack, we've had longer downtimes than this in the past. Also, people make a TON of hacks for Overwatch and other Blizzard titles and many have never been detected so I don't know what you're talking about.

Lol so much bullshit from one post.

There are next to no public hacks for Overwatch because most providers don't want to deal with lawsuits. Nothing to do with how easy it is to hack... Everything is invite only... and yes there are legit hundreds of full aimbots for Overwatch. Many undetected for months...

Lawl @ PVE as an E-Sport...

You use the word obfuscation as if you can reverse engineered the code yourself... You have no clue what changes they made and you just like the big words. 4 other bot providers have already confirmed these changes are not targeting them. Which means either all the programmers are wrong or these changes are all for HB. Since all your are points are garbage I'll assume most everyone here will put their trust in other sources.

No clue why tony didn't close this thread with so much misinformation it astounds me.

There are several reasons for lack of information being given. One being the lawsuits and another being Blizzard also reading what you read.

All we can say that there is nothing blocking us. We just have to deal with some stuff that takes time.

None of the other bot providers did analyzes on the code. They just took shortcuts and ignored anything recently added. We will not be doing that.

Well you are throwing false statements to back it up with what evidence? You're claiming that you know somebody who knows about the details? Come on man, don't kid yourself.

What the staff and moderators are all asking for is patience, and a nice behavioured forum, is that too much to ask for?
