Hello B-Forum. Im having a problem, each time i try to login on HB. The program crashes, and in the logfile, there is only standing Authenticating, and i get this windows error message, that are attached to the post. In the logfile there is only standing the same, as in the main window "Authenticating" and that is it. I have tested with my acc and - "auth failed". Then i used the test account - program crashed (no auth error) I borrowed a mates of mine's account (a non payer, as my self) and i can login with he's detailes, but i still get the windows error message. So might have some software installed, that HB dosent like. I have .Netframework 4 (win 7 only) installed, and are runing Win 7 x86. Btw pls don't like to the Auth failed page, cuss i have see that everyone links in to this page, just cuss you have auth problems. the ping request is also fine, 4/4 attempts, with around 164 MS pr attempt. The tracert is also fine, after 11 jumps, its complet. and all the ports in my router is also open atm, cuss cba to find which ports excatly that HB needed. Summery: Auth error with my account. HB crashes when, i'm logging in with test, or my mates account, and i dont get auth errors. Logfile + screenshot is attached. If any other information is needed, pls let me know. How exactly are you loggin in? Start wow, log in to wow, select your char and log on to world, then start up HB and login with it.... Just saying if you didnt know.
are you logging into the game completely? ie: you can move your character and interact? or at the char select?
@ Ronnieole - its not login related to wow at all, cuss the windows error message comes, when wow is open, and with wow closed. @ Kickazz006 - nope don't even have a setting called gxApi - there is only my refresh rate, screen reslou etc etc.
so just so that we're clear... Dx9 (since nothing is set in config.wtf) windowed mode character is logged in and ready to play you start up HB and you get this error? Are you running HB and wow as admin?
Yup, Dx9 is installed with Web-installer from MS homepage to get the newest version. Window mode (yes) Character is logged in (Yes) Yup, get the error when im logging in(to HB). + always run my programs as admin.

Make sure you install .NET 3.5 SP1 (this is not the same as .NET 4.0. You can install both side-by-side without any issues)
My honorbuddy is getting the same error because of Instance buddy, i installed the new version of IB and it says that it needs a newer version of HB in which is not out yet. Whut teh fook?
I got the same problem, it work number 1 on 1 of my pc , but won't work on my laptop Asus G73J, I got the same erreur as the first post. I run windows 7 64 bit on both computer. It would be nice to get it to work on my laptop so I can look at the bot more. Sorry for my English
I have relized that the problems might come when you dont have installed 3.5 sp 1 standalone installation.. But since my "Windows Installer Service" is fucked.. which means i can't install .MSI files or .EXE files.. I have to reinstall windows for that to work.. So let me get back to you, later on 2 night. When i have reinstalled, to confirm that it is correct.
The 4.0 .Networkframe contains all the .net versions 1.0 - 3.5 sp1.. But HB might need some files from .net 3.5 sp1 standalone. I'll also get back to you, later 2nite to confirm, that HB needs a standalone verison af .net 3.5 sp1 /Profetzo
it only takes ~3 hours + 1 day of updates xD have you tried installing in safe mode? or having it "fixed" in safe mode?
make a new thread including your Hb log as attachment(if Hb creates one) and a screenshot of the error
Naahh it only takes 30 mins, for the installation.. BUT! the updating takes SOOOO LONG TIME.. even tho im having 50/6 Mbit internet connection But the safe mode dosent even work, cuss "windows installer service" is completly fucked i mean, it wont even start up in safe mode
