I've tried clearing the settings, running in admin, reinstalling HB. Nothing works. I'm currently using a technical preview of Windows 10, but everything else seems to work fine. Any help?
remove: - microsoft .net framework 4 client profile - microsoft .net framework 4 extended - microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable - microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable restart your pc, download the installationwizard https://www.thebuddyforum.com/attach...uddywizard-zip run them as administrator. after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++ restart
Not exactly sure how to go about doing those steps Tony. I found a utility on Microsoft's website which claimed to remove all the stuff related to the .net framework. It was called the .NET Framework Setup Cleanup Utility. I ran that under the option, ".NET Framework - All Versions (Windows 8.1)". I was unable to find anything on my computer relating to the microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable. I was able to remove the 2012 version through programs and features. I then restarted my PC, reinstalled Honorbuddy with the installer under admin mode. Next, I ran the windows update but it told me my versions of windows was up to date. Restarted, and I still have the issues.
