Hi, I am on the latest version of windows 10. As of this morning I updated to the latest version of Honor Buddy. It should be noted nothing else has been changed and I am running the latest version of .NET Since doing this I am now receiving the below message when starting my launcher. This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the default Programs control panel. I have looked through extensively all of the previous posts regarding this matter and have not found any of the solutions worked for me. Would anyone please be able to assist? I have only just purchased a years worth of the program and it was working well for the first 5 days and now this has stumped my progress. Regards,
Looks like a Win10 or Win Defender Update. Please download the .zip file of the bot and extract it to a new folder. Make sure nothing like antivirus/firewall is blocking this action. Start the bot as admin and things should work again. If not please attach a full logfile.
Thanks for the response, turning off windows defender seems to fix the problem. Just to tack on a second question what would have the honorbuddy.exe pause at "Logging in..." it does not seem to be getting further. The key is correct, I tested with an incorrect one and got an immediate error.
