Asked a admin about this, but got redirected here. Hope anyone could help me :)

Hello, about 2 days ago I got a 72h ban, I turned it on for about 6 hours, when I woke up it was still up and running and my account were still unbanned, I turned it off not by pressing the stop button but just exiting it in the task maneger option, I went to get coffe and when i came back I was banned, does the way i close down the bot trigger some kind of defense-system? Just asking because I want to know how I could use the bot a whole night and just when i turned it off i got banned, thanks in advance :)

did you get another ban to the 72hr? sorry I'm a little confused.
bot does have tripwire, but If an GM was investigating you personally then yeah nothing really much you can do.
I have been hit with a few 72hr bans, farming almost 24/7 now I stopped that and the bans have seemed to stopped for now only time will tell since I am now farming 8 to 12hrs at night mainly. Blizzard are keeping an active eye out these days are banwave

pressing stop or exiting the same thing from what I know unless I'm wrong.
however if you were farming for 6 hours and were reported, or something bugged happened and bliz got wiff of it somehow that is more than likely resulted in your 72hr.
what were you farming? if it was b.g then I'm not surprised.

if you get banned again it will more than likely be perma if done individually, unless your flagged for next banwave then it may be 6months if lucky.
I wouldn't get too attached to that account If I were you.

I always thought 72 Hour Bans and other short bans like that were because of being reported by another player.
