Alright here's my problem: On my normal high speed internet connection I havent been able to get on any of the GB/HB forum stuff since early tuesday. The only reason im on right now is because i tethered internet connection from my cell phone(moto droid). I havent been able to figure out what the problem is ive flushed the DNS cache, ive checked the host files, ive diabled firewalls and anitviruses but im still not able to get on the forums through my normal internet connection. I was really surprised when i was able to get on here by tethering internet through my phone, but it told me a few things. There is obviously something wrong with my isp connecting with GB/HB's connection because im able to access everything when a different isp is connected. Im just lost and dont know what to do. My cell phone internet isnt good enough to download any updates so if I dont figure this out I wont be able to use GB/HB and im a lifetimer. Anyway anyone can hlep me I would appreciate it. What its doing is timing out everytime I go to the forums. Has to be either my router or my isp. I am US based by the way
Okay still no luck here everything ive done to try to fix the problem so far: Disabled antiviruses, and firewalls Flushed DNS Cache Checked host files,(everything fine) Ive tried to connect on 3 different computers no luck master reset on modem and router I also did the google DNS as suggested above. and the last thing ive done is a tracert: ill post a pictures of the tracert if I can Every other website pulls up fine and until 2 days ago any gatherbuddy honorbuddy pages pulled up fine, but now the only page I can pull up is the buddyshop, none of the forum stuff. It just times out every time, what should I do Im only able to get on here now through my phone internet
Looks like your getting dropped at the hop into the data center by that trace route. I'd check with bossland and give him your ip and ask the data center to see if they are banning you for some reason. I can't be completely sure this is whats happening to you without access to the server, but from a purely outside observation point that is where I would start. I'm on comcast too and my trace route closely resembles that one as I'm less than a few hundred miles from you. I'm getting past that hop fine tho.
Oh, its Comcast? They would like you to pay more money to access those services you are supposed to get (Anyone following the Comcast peering fun, will get that)
Same problem here, currently browsing via a proxy. I am NL based and my ISP is ziggo, could you please look in to this bossland?
