Hello my fellow friends, i have searched the whole internet for a bot to this game. But i can't find any, anyone wanna help me out? I am tired of leveling so many heroes to 10 now by hand.
Discussions of other bots is not allowed on these forums. There's other sites you may have better luck on.
So let me see if I understand correctly. You guys have awfully convoluted logic. As it is this is a cheating forum that chooses where to apply morals like which cheats can be discussed, selling digital goods isn't allowed.. And the pinnacle - arenas were pulled due to the impact on others (like non PVP doesn't have just as large if not larger impact) but your making a bot for a PURE pvp game? Lol wut? Smh - guess I'll never understand but I find it hard to ascertain any sincerity in your motives if they're already out the window due to another opportunity to profit. Fortunately I'll never play any type of competitive moba or fps for this/that exact reason.
I agree with the sentiment, though it's not as cut and dry as you make it out to be. If the stance is not wanting to touch the competitive side of player versus player in the game, I cannot see a justification that makes it ok for HotS' competitive scene but not WoW's arena. The only way I can see it being justifiable is if the condition was put in place that the bot cannot be used in either game's competitive scenes; which for HotS would be Hero League and Team League. Vs. AI I do not see a problem Stormbuddy, though I can see Quick Match as a grey area. The comparative here is WoW Battlegrounds, which currently HB is allowed to be used in. To throw the argument back, I notice no one seems to be getting salty about the fact that a legitimately competitive aspect of WoW is still botable, as Rated Battle Grounds give the same / very similar rewards to arena, yet there's no calls for equalization on that front. To call HotS a PURE PvP game isn't entirely correct. It can be played, and has been, as a pure PVE game, at least since the last major update which made it possible to play by one's self with other bots. Hell, it has already been called out in Stormbuddy forums: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/stormbuddy-forum/217711-encountered-2-bots-ai-game.html TLDR: It is not a PURE PvP game, but if they if they have the stance of not fucking with Blizzard's competitive scene, then the bot needs to not work in Hero League and Team League.
I wonder how they will ban bots in HotS? Like it's f2p so do you just make a new one on the bnet acc or need to make an entire new bnet acc?
Perhaps your new to moba, the account is in the time and effort.. A fresh account you start with nothing, no Hero no mounts no skins.. They are not account wide either like wow.. Nothing is tradable, so your effort or your bots effort is personal.. A game like lol for example people put thousands into there accounts..same will happen with hots, and these people would never use the bot.
So you forbid ranked play in WoW via banning HB's use in arena. Then make a new bot that will further ruin ranked play in a another blizzard game. #logic? Heroes is a strictly PVP game so I mean this just seems like a hypocritical move by the HB team.
Bossland GmbH didn't disallow BGbots, and unless you're playing in hero leagues with the bot, you have no effect on ranked play, and even considering that you might bot in ranked play, the bot would be too terrible at teamwork and coordination to be at all viable. There has been no indication that StormBuddy will support a mode similiar to what BoL is for League of Legends, it is way early to start making assumptions as to their intention with the bot, it hasn't even been released yet.
HotS is NOT a strictly PVP game, I mentioned this 2 posts above yours. There is a mode where you can populate the entire game with other bots and play by yourself. Zero impact on others. What good is it? To grind hero levels and thus gold. There's about 4k gold to be made for a level 20. Which is a fuckton of games per hero mind you, but it is doable and if you get a 5 team of bots at least they'll all get the friend XP bonus. Correct me if I am wrong, as I have not played League, but I would think with the way their system is designed, the game has clear periods of time where everyone leaves each other alone, and there are certain roles that generally want to avoid being near everyone else or following everyone else? That kind of system I could see a bot being plausible, but as mentioned previously, HotS is too heavily based on team work and reaction to what the opposition is doing. Sure, you can emulate Blizzard's bots, which would work to an extent in QM or vs. AI as those formats can be played without team interaction (though it will be hated on in QM). HL and TL though, a proper bot I'd think would be difficult. How does it pick in the team selection process?
