I keep reading about people getting banned on multiple accounts, usually gatherbuddy is involved. Myself, I use honorbuddy in bg's and sometimes in questing. I am in fully control over my character's movements, choose my targets and even interrupt the bot to cast a different spell when needed. I know botting has its risks but, can someone else out there tell me if they have gotten a permanent ban doing what I am doing?
Most bans are from player reports, if you don't act like a bot and interact in gen chat etc more than likely you will be fine Sent from my SM-N900T using TheBuddyForum mobile app
I play WOW about the same way as you do - questing a bit and most of the time I use HB as a "rotation-helper". So, nothing is fully automated. I do not use HB to make gold or to gather other resources. The only (72 hrs) ban I ever got was because I was using a "vee-pee-en", which was not even HB related.
i dont use gatherbuddy i use raf botting 5 accounts got lost 3 accounts now i have 2 accounts left i wil try to questbot its not coming only from gatherbuddy its from questing and all others aswel when ever i use tyrael and hb im fine to with tuanha classes but the lvling method is getting dangerous
not really true when i questbot i interact with the guild and chat etc and stil you get banned if you do questbotting or db or what ever manually using hb with tyrael is ok
An recent example by a friend: He started a 5man raf dungeonbuddy party last week. The first day he kicks quested to 15 and started dungeonbuddy 5x up to 30ish lvl then stopped. On day two, he continued his 5 man dungeonbuddy unmonitored. After several hours (Not sure howmany indeed), he witnessed 2x of his bots was DCed, and 3x of the others were stuck in a dungeon. These 3x were autobanned soon that day and the 2x disconnected survived the ban! So it seems the time spent in the dungeon (Not being idle) delivers much for Blizzard?
