      Hey there!

I want to buy honorbuddy. But there is one problem after all: I am afraid of get banned. I was surfing in the forum and saw many things like: "I was banned" So honorbuddy is full detectable? What should i look if not? I just want to leveling with Honorbuddy. Not farming or else. So another question is: Whats the other buddys? Like Demonbuddy and so on. I never hear that, just honorbuddy.

      Thanks for you answers!

      Hi, Newbie1991,

If you are afraid of getting banned, you should not buy ANY bot.

There are a number of things that can cause you to get banned quickly...
      • Participating in risky behaviors--e.g., excessive farming (the current rage is Felblight), botting too long in each session, farming certain dungeons or areas, farming certain PvP battlegrounds, using the exact same route to harvest for hours on end with no variance, etc.
      • Becoming the target of a player report (or generating one yourself--Bliz always investigates both parties)
      • Selling gold (and apparently the new time tokens) is a great way to get your account banned very quickly.

ALL botters (of any botting product) WILL eventually be banned. This is pretty much guaranteed. Most botters just start another account and go again.
      • Some botters seem to get put on a 'watch list', and after getting banned a few times, they can't even create a new account without having it banned within a few hours.
      • The vast majority of Honorbuddy users manage to go a long time (years) before getting banned. But, their day is coming too.
Getting banned is simply a fact of botting life. If you're not prepared for it, you simply shouldn't bot.

On the flip-side, you should take the "banned" reports with a grain of salt...
They should by no means be ignored. But, people that are banned tend to be irate and want to go somewhere and vent. Keep in mind that people in this mindset might not be telling the whole story. Other bots may have been in use, or they may have participated in risky behavior, or simply gotten careless. Botting is not a "click and walk-away" activity, if you value your account. (I.e., situations like "stuck on a landscape decoration for hours" will happen, combat routines or a bad combination of plugins will glitch, etc).

One other thing about "ban reports"...
Bliz does not apply bans immediately. Instead, they mark an account for banning, save them for a while, then do it in a 'wave'. Their goal is a shock-and-awe factor of "ohmigosh, the bot is detected." Their technique works extremely well against the less experienced members of our Community. Seasoned members see the technique for what it is, evaluate the state of affairs, and usually keep going.

cheers & much success with your decision,
      chinajade

But i just want to lvleing a few characters. I play on a EU realm and never got problems with blizzard. How is the chance for ban? Or is this just random?

Your past in wow hasn't anything in common with the new activities that you're planning to do. If you're afraid of get banned like other people said, you shouldn't use this or any other third party program. Always exists the risk of being catched and you can lose your account.

      Hi again, Newbie1991,

As we previously stated, if you bot you WILL be banned. It simply a matter of "when". Specific percentage numbers cannot be assigned to the "when", as many unmeasurable factors are in play.

The only thing left is for you decide if you want to risk your account on the chance that a ban may happen sooner, rather than later. Since only you know your risk tolerance, its a decision that only you can make.

      cheers,
      chinajade

Honorbuddy itself takes precautions for the client-side.

The Honorbuddy user is responsible for avoiding server-side detection. This is behavior-based detections like botting 24/7.

So the user is responsible for beeing find or not find. But the banning system from blizzard can locate the users anytime i think. No matter how you try to scure, blizzard find you for sure. Is that right? Hmm. If its right, i ve to change my mind i think. Buy a bot for getting banned is... stupid.

      Hi again, Newbie1991,

You're absolutely right... buying ANY bot is probably not for you.

From your comments,, you have MUCH homework to do before you consider buying a bot. We suggest you read through our Wiki, the Honorbuddy:HelpDesk, and much of our forum before you consider a purchase.

Until you understand the basic concepts, you will get your account banned pronto.

      cheers,
      chinajade

Good thread, and good quality posts from chinajade.

These posts should be stickied imo (so people are reminded)...a various of them mixed together kind of like a F.A.Q. with these posts answering the questions.

HAHA dont bother buying this bot. Yes certain aspects of this work fine but things need to be improved on. I am so happy china finds the time to address dumb post like this but cant answer the simple question of when lfr's are going to be scripted or when garrison buddy is going to work again. I cant even buy the garrison butler due to the developer saying there are to many bugs with HB and they wont unlock it till HB gets there sht together and makes the bot more secure. Atleast the developers are looking out for you in that aspect but Hb seems to dodge the important question as long as they are still pulling in cash.
