My question is very simple really. I am seeing a lot of chatter stating that Honorbuddy has given up, calling it quits, is this true? Or are we simply waiting to figure out how we were detected and relaunch the bot with this info in mind? Now, my statement....I am luckier than some as I built basically two main accounts and they are tied together with a slim thread. The end game is that I do not need to start from scratch gold or toon wise so I am lucky. What I find in this is that Blizz in the end will pay rather dearly for this simply because the ban length is so that many will not return. How many won't return I am not sure exactly but I would wager 40% to 60% simply because many were on the edge already almost begging for something like this to end their misery. Those who will walk away will put a major dent in Blizz's bottomline. I have always been of the position that Blizz tolerates to some degree botters but every once and awhile must flex their muscles to show the WOW Community that they are trying to stomp out botting and we can be honest when we say there has not been a major banwave in sometime now. HOWEVER the 6 month suspension I believe is a HUGE mistake on their part from two angles. The first is they overplayed their hands. The game is not as exciting as it once was where people would just fork out money to buy back in and second the ban time is so excessive that people will overcome the addiction by the time the 6 months is up. I know for me I saw it coming and 4 months ago I started building my dual main account figuring that we were soon going to get a surprise. BUT honestly I could quit tomorrow as my desire to play the game is honestly not there anymore. I have found myself playing, even botting less and less every day, week and even month. Even though I have my other main I can say honestly the desire to use it is not there. I may well just sit low for next expansion and see if its worth coming back. My reason for post is I want to know if this is the end of the WOW Bot or if we are simply waiting to find out what happened....If we are waiting people I can tell you to expect the bot to be down 6-8 weeks....minimum. This takes time to address and to make sure they have closed all doors. I will end with saying THANKS, from the bottom of my heart for all your hard work. Like others have said if not for the bot we and I may not have been playing still. Thank you for making some sort of enjoyment out of what has been a game in constant decline sine BC. I truly hope you bring this bot back online as we all do.
